Sheego Kurvensommer Styling Truck in Hamburg

Yesterday the Kurvensommer Styling truck from Sheego, a fashion company from Germany specialised in Plus Size Fashion, made a stop over in Hamburg. It offered plus size ladies a professional styling and photoshoot on board the truck. Sure I had to go and check it out! :)

I met some lovely plus size blogger ladies  like Sabina from Femmefatale, Jenny from Frollein Moorchen, Ulrike from MissBartoz and Tanja from Kurvenrausch whome I already introduced to you a couple of weeks ago. We had an excited chat about the fashion industry and the different aspects of plus size fashion in particular, had a little icecream and enjoyed the sunny weather.

All ladies received a little goodie bag that contained a little mirror and nail polish in the Sheego red, an usb-drive with the pics taken by the photographer, some catalogues and as a special we received a summer scarf in purple colours. Ain't it nice?

A new pullover :)

Just qickly wanted to show you my latest pullover I only finished the other day. Since it is pretty cold at the moment (where is the summer gone???) it is perfect to wear. What you think about it? The crocheting pattern is from the book Kultmaschen.

Miss Moss Corsets - Handmade corsets

Corsets are a great part of clothing for me and I own some, mostly in black. For quite some time I have been checking on some handmade corsets in a more colourful way but it is - as always - a question of money. Yes, handmade stuff isn't cheap but it is worth every penny and cent.
A couple of month ago Gemma from Miss Moss Corsets presented a great offer on a handmade corset I could not refuse and today the result came in the mail.
I am totally in love with this great piece and am really looking forward to the shoot it is made for :)

But it was a nice experience and I had a great weekend in London.

London Plus Size Fashion Weekend - Casting of the models

I'm going to London tomorrow! I got an invitation to the model casting for the London Plus size Fahion Weekend. OMG! Wow! I am pretty sure I won't make it much further than this but still it will be a lot of fun.

Blutsgeschwister

A couple of weeks ago I spotted the flagship store of the Stuttgart based label 'Blutsgeschwister', a very stunning label with expressive design that I absolutely love and that actually fit even bigger sizes. I am totally in love!
They have several flagship stores, selected stores have their items and there is an online store available.
I have been to the flagship store in Hamburg several times now and always spend hell too much money there! ;) The atmosphere is great, the girls are very friendly and helpful and it is always a very relaxing shopping time. Actually the best way to spend an afternoon with your girls!

Kurvenhaus Hamburg - Birthday Fashion Show

Last week the lovely Miss Bartoz from missbartoz asked to come along to the Birthday Fashion Show of Kurvenhaus, a Plus Size Store in downtown Hamburg.
The ladies were very excited as the store is now one year old. I finally met Miss Bartoz and some of her fans and friends there. The whole evening was in a very intimate and lovely atmosphere and one could feel the passion of the owners for their work. Different designers, colors and styles, all in plus sizes for beautiful ladies.
So, if you come here, give the store a try, it's worth it!
